beach life

evening all

i made this little beach hut a week ago and been excited to show on my blog but had to wait for the right time

this cute little papernest image is just perfect 

i brought a template off of the computer but it was way to small for me to use so i ended up making my own up

i cut the sides of the house and the roof from thick card

 then cut little strips of card, glued them to the sides and roof to look like wooden slates

i used a sharp knife to cut the doors out 

before i stuck the sides together to form the house 

then the fun began decorating it 

the little shells which i glued around the house, i picked up from a beach i went to in greece a few years back 

they are so tiny and sweet , i new one day i would find a perfect place for them 

i cut the little fence from a sizzix die cut then glued it around the edge 

made a little wind shield and a towel rail out of paper and cocktail sticks

added a string of flags and a beach life sign 

off she goes all changed to have fun in the sea
