tealight lantern

afternoon all

well i thought i would try something i have never made before

a tealight lantern

a scaned the magnolia image after stamping it so i could make it a little larger

i then printed it and coloured it with my copics

i cut 2 pieces of cardstock, then punched around both pieces with my martha stewart punch

one for the base and one for the lid

i made a box lid for the top and bottom

i cut 4 side panels which i glued to the box lids

the roof took me quite a bit of time to get it right

i used a square piece of cardtock which i cut into 4

traced and allowed a little edge before i cut them out for me to glue them together

i then decorated it

what fun i had

thankyou for looking
